We are excited to announce a list of upcoming brokerage events for the Horizon Europe program scheduled for 2025.
1. Energy Matchmaking Event – 12–13 May 2025 – Stockholm, Sweden
Hosted at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, this event focuses on Horizon Europe’s 2025 Pillar II Cluster 5 calls, encompassing climate, energy, and mobility. Participants will engage in thematic workshops, one-on-one meetings, and information sessions to foster collaborations in sustainable energy solutions.
2. Civil Security for Society Matchmaking Event – 14–15 May 2025 – Stockholm, Sweden
Organized by the Swedish Defence University, this event aims to build innovative consortia addressing Horizon Europe’s 2025 Pillar II Cluster 3 calls. It will feature networking and interactive sessions designed to facilitate knowledge exchange and foster collaborations in areas such as disaster resilience, cybersecurity, and societal preparedness.
3. KETs EU Brokerage Event in Horizon Europe CL4 & CL5 – 20 May 2025 – Strasbourg, France
This matchmaking event targets Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) within Horizon Europe Clusters 4 and 5. It will bring together representatives from industry, academia, and research centers to foster new collaborations and consortia. The event includes information sessions on the upcoming calls and opportunities for one-to-one networking meetings.
4. Environment and Food Matchmaking Event – 22–23 May 2025 – London, UK
Organized by Crowdhelix, this event seeks to bring together leading researchers, business leaders, and industry experts to build innovative consortia responding to Horizon Europe’s 2025 Pillar II Cluster 6 calls. The focus will be on environmental sustainability and food systems, with activities including pitch sessions and bilateral meetings to initiate collaborative projects.
5. Horizon Europe Brokerage Event for Cluster 6 – Calls 2025 – 27 May 2025 – Warsaw, Poland
Organized by the CARE4BIO network, this full-day onsite event targets the Horizon Europe Cluster 6 calls, covering areas such as food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture, and environment. Participants can engage in pre-arranged bilateral meetings, flash presentations, and receive personalized support from National Contact Points.
6. Horizon Europe – EUIndTech 2025 Brokerage Event – 3 June 2025 – Krakow, Poland
This event focuses on industry-related topics featured in Horizon Europe’s 2025 Work Programme for Cluster 4. It offers a valuable networking opportunity to establish business contacts and meet future project partners during pre-arranged onsite Face2Face meetings. Participants can also present project ideas or expertise through pitching sessions and consult proposal concepts with National Contact Points.
7. International Space Info Day and Brokerage Event – 3 June 2025 – Warsaw, Poland
Dedicated to Horizon Europe space-related calls, this event will gather stakeholders from the space industry and research community. Participants can attend information sessions and one-on-one meetings to form strong consortia for upcoming space calls.
8. Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society Matchmaking Event – 3–4 June 2025 – London, UK
Organized by Crowdhelix, this event aims to build partnerships in areas related to cultural heritage, creative industries, and inclusive societies. Attendees will have the opportunity to present project ideas, participate in thematic discussions, and establish connections with potential collaborators, aligning with Horizon Europe’s 2025 Pillar II Cluster 2 calls.
9. From Baltic Region to European Cooperation – 3–4 June 2025 – Brussels, Belgium
This event focuses on enhancing collaboration between the Baltic region and broader European partners. It will cover topics across various Horizon Europe clusters, offering a platform for stakeholders to explore joint initiatives and expand their networks particularly within Cluster 1 (Health) and the Cancer Mission – with special attention to challenges related to environment, digitalization, and brain health.
10. Europe and Mobilities: Challenges and Opportunities for Socio-Economic Transformations – 6 June 2025 – Warsaw, Poland
On the third day of the Europe and Mobilities conference, a dedicated brokerage event for Cluster 2 will be organized to build consortia for calls under the Horizon Europe programme. The event will explore societal transformations and mobility within Europe. It will feature expert discussions, networking opportunities, and sessions designed to build consortia tackling socio-economic challenges.
11. Health Matchmaking Event – 17–18 June 2025 – Solna, Sweden
Hosted at Campus Solna, this event is dedicated to health-related topics under Horizon Europe’s 2025 Pillar II Cluster 1 calls. It will facilitate connections among researchers, healthcare providers, and industry representatives through discussions on upcoming health calls, sharing of project ideas, and opportunities for collaboration.
Brokerage events are designed to facilitate matchmaking and networking opportunities, specifically aimed at helping develop high-quality proposals for upcoming Horizon Europe calls, build consortia, and exchange ideas and experiences between experts worldwide.
