Research and innovation stakeholders from across the Eastern Partnership (EaP) region are invited to join the online information and networking webinar titled “Horizon Europe Work Programme 2026–2027 and Perspectives towards FP10”, dedicated to strengthening participation in Horizon Europe, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
This webinar is organised by the Global Service Facility (GSF) of the European Commission, in cooperation with the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD). It aims to provide practical guidance, strategic insights, and future perspectives for EaP actors interested in engaging more actively in Horizon Europe calls and partnerships.

What the Webinar Will Cover
The session will provide a structured overview of upcoming opportunities under the Horizon Europe Work Programme 2026–2027, with particular attention to topics and instruments of strategic relevance for EaP countries. More specifically, the webinar will:
- Present the Horizon Europe Work Programme 2026–2027, with a focus on opportunities relevant for the EaP Partner countries;
- Highlight thematic areas and funding instruments of a particular strategic importance for the region, as for example Artificial Intelligence in science;
- Provide targeted information on measures and calls addressing widening countries, including those relevant for EaP countries associated to Horizon Europe;
- Introduce the European Innovation Council (EIC) Work Programme 2026, with emphasis on instruments accessible to widening countries;
- Offer an initial policy-oriented overview of the EU’s forthcoming 10th Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (FP10) and its expected orientations;
- Facilitate exchange, questions, and networking among R&I stakeholders from the EaP region.
