We are pleased to inform you about new brokerage events under the Horizon Europe Programme:
1. Successful R&I in Europe 2026 – 19–20 February 2026 – Düsseldorf, Germany
The 13th European Networking Event “Successful R&I in Europe” brings together researchers, universities, SMEs, companies and other stakeholders interested in Horizon Europe. The event offers a series of thematic sessions aligned with Horizon Europe clusters, partner search activities, and opportunities to present project ideas. The conference is known for attracting international participants and supporting high-quality consortia building for upcoming calls.
Registration is open until 6 February 2026, unless capacity is reached earlier.
2. SICUR 2026 Brokerage Event – Cluster 3 – 24-26 February – Madrid, Spain
This event focuses on fostering collaboration in the security sector, particularly within the Horizon Europe Cluster 3 “Civil Security for Society” community to facilitate the consortia creation for 2026 calls for proposals. SICUR will bring together various stakeholders, including SMEs, start-ups, corporates, research centers, associations, professionals, authorities, and end-users, to showcase and explore the latest technological advancements in security, cybersecurity, fire and emergency security, and workplace safety.
3. NEB Facility Matchmaking 2026 – 5 March 2026 – Brussels, Belgium
This brokerage event supports consortium building for the 2026 New European Bauhaus (NEB) Facility calls. It brings together universities, research centres, municipalities, private companies, and other stakeholders engaged in R&D, innovation, and participatory projects and provides opportunities to pitch project ideas, exchange experiences, and identify potential partners. NEB proposals are expected to follow a transdisciplinary approach, integrating actors from public authorities, local communities, civil society, and cultural and creative sectors, as well as disciplines such as architecture, urban design, arts, engineering, health, economics, and social sciences.
Registration is open until 1 March 2026. The event complements the European Commission’s NEB Facility Info Day on 24 February.
4. Energy Efficient Buildings & NEB Matchmaking Session – 11 March 2026 – Brussels, Belgium
This matchmaking session is part of the two-day Energy Efficient Buildings & New European Bauhaus – Brokerage and Study Visit and supports partner search and project development linked to Horizon Europe opportunities. The session offers pre-arranged 15-minute b2match meetings for one-to-one discussions. The focus is on energy-efficient and sustainable buildings, New European Bauhaus principles (sustainability, aesthetics, inclusion), innovative construction materials and solutions, and circular approaches in the built environment. The event is open to startups, companies, research organisations, cities, and public institutions seeking partners for future European projects.
5. CBE JU Networking Event– 21 April 2026 – Brussels, Belgium
The Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking Networking Event is a full-day, in-person brokerage event focused on building collaborations for the 2026 call for project proposals under the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking. It will bring together applicants, representatives of the European Commission and the Bio-based Industries Consortium to support partner search, idea exchange and consortium building.
The event will include structured networking, matchmaking sessions and short training activities.
Registration is open until 14 April 2026.
The Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking is a public–private partnership under Horizon Europe supporting research and innovation for competitive and sustainable circular bio-based industries in Europe.
6. SMI2G – Security Mission Information & Innovation Group Event 2026 – 23-24 April – Paris, France
The SMI2G brokerage event brings together innovators and practitioners from across Europe seeking consortium partners to address the challenges outlined in the upcoming Horizon Europe “Civil Security for Society” calls for proposals for 2026. SMI2G features keynote speakers, expert panel discussions, and pitch sessions related to the respective calls.
Brokerage events are designed to facilitate matchmaking and networking opportunities, specifically aimed at helping develop high-quality proposals for upcoming Horizon Europe calls, build consortia, and exchange ideas and experiences between experts worldwide.
