On 10 October 2025, HE widerAdvance Facility project will host a webinar dedicated to the EIC Pre-Accelerator, a new joint initiative of the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the Widening participation and strengthening the European Research Area (WIDERA) programme under the WIDERA Work Programme 2025.
The session will provide an overview of the scheme’s objectives, design and main features. It will also highlight the currently open EIC Pre-Accelerator call, aimed at boosting the innovation potential of early-stage deep-tech start-ups in widening countries. The goal is to help teams strengthen their business, investor and technology readiness to reach maturity for EIC Accelerator support, attract private investment or access national and regional funding.
Participants will learn who can apply, expected outcomes, and practical steps to funding and scaling.
Speakers from the European Commission and EISMEA will share insights and answer questions.
