The European Commission is implementing a project within the Global Support Service Facility to facilitate a stronger participation of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries, including Armenia, in Horizon Europe (HE), the EU’s Framework for Research and Innovation, and in the European Research Area (ERA).

Researchers and innovators from the Armenia can already from now request individual expert consultations, which are granted on a case-by-case basis following consultations with the National Contact Points (NCPs).

This customised support is addressed to potential applicants targeting a concrete call/topic of Horizon Europe. It will focus on questions such as: ‘decoding’ the call; matching between the call and the researcher’s expertise; consortium building; securing roles in a consortium; structuring the budget; etc.

Applications will be evaluated at the end of every calendar month utill May 2027, based on the information provided in the registration form, as the number of consultations is limited.

What is Horizon Europe?

Horizon Europe is the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation with a budget of €93.5 billion designed to run from 2021 to 2027. It combats climate change, aids in the achievement of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, and improves the EU’s competitiveness and growth.

While addressing global challenges, the programme encourages collaboration and strengthens the impact of research and innovation in developing, supporting, and implementing the EU policies. It promotes the creation and dissemination of superior knowledge and technologies.
